Celebrate California statehood with free admission to California’s Native Garden and discover why native plants make our state so special.

You can now reserve your tickets ahead of time!

Daily admission tickets for the public (non-members) are valid for the entire day during our opening hours: there is no specific entry time or duration of your visit. 

We are open Tuesdays - Sundays from 8 AM - 6 PM. We are closed on Mondays.

IMPORTANT: Following CDC and LA County Department of Public Health guidelines, visitors may enjoy the outdoor areas of the Garden mask-free. Visitors are required to wear a face mask over the nose and mouth indoors regardless of vaccination status. Children under age 2 are exempt.

When you arrive:

After parking, please visit our Admissions Kiosk and provide the name on your reservation.

By entering the Garden, you are agreeing to our guidelines for your safety and for the safety of others. 

Last admission in 30 minutes prior to closing at 5:30 PM. 

When you leave:

All guests must depart the Garden by 6 PM.

Please remember: 

If you or another person in your party is not feeling well, please visit at another time. 

Stay at least 6 feet away from anyone not in your family unit. This includes Garden Staff. 

The Administration Building and Horticultural Complex are closed to visitors. 

Only one set of restrooms is open: those at the north end of the Mesa near the Lantz Outdoor Classroom.
