Color All Around: Dyes and the Plants that Make Them

In this workshop led by RSABG design specialist, David Bryant, and botany graduate student, Sophia Winitsky, learn how to dye animal-fiber fabrics using California native and non-native plants, and the diversity of gorgeous hues that one can create from any particular plant!

$35.00 Public, $30.00 RSABG Members

Please bring a small piece of clothing (beanies, scarf, socks, for example), cloth, or yarn of 100% animal fibers (wool, alpaca) to dye and take home!

Education Classes Refund Policy

In the case that a fee-based class or workshop is cancelled, Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden will refund the full (100%) payment.

If a registered and paid participant withdraws from the class 72 hours or more prior to the beginning of the event, class, or workshop a full refund will be issued.

If a registered and paid participant withdraws more than 24 hours but less than 72 hours before the beginning of the class, event, or workshop a 50% refund will be issued.

If a registered and paid participant withdraws less than 24 hours before the class, or is a ‘no-show’ on the day of the event, class, or workshop, no refund will be issued.

This Refund Policy applies to all classes requiring payment.
