Grow Native Nursery CalBG Member Exclusive Opening!

CalBG Members have their own day of in-person shopping at Grow Native Nursery BEFORE the Nursery opens to the public. Grow Native Nursery (GNN) sells California native plants for home landscapes and is located at California Botanic Garden just east of the kiosk adjacent to the Garden's parking lot.

Due to current public health guidelines, the opening of Grow Native Nursery will have limited admission with timed entry and face covering are required at all times. 

Sign in and reserve your free ticket to shop for California native plants! Reservations are required to shop between the hours of 8 am - 12 pm. After 12 pm, members may check-in to shop without a reservation. Reservations are per member household. For example, Jane Smith reserves 1 ticket for 10 am. She and the other named adult on her membership card receive entry to the GNN at 10 am. A household entry includes the named adults on membership card and children/grandchildren 17 and under. If you have an individual membership your reservation is ONLY for 1 person - the CalBG member. Note: you will be asked to sign in before reserving your ticket to verify your CalBG membership. Grow Native Nursery Opens for CalBG Members. CalBG Members receive a 10% discount on plant purchases at the GNN as a member benefit.

• 8 am - 10 am: Exclusive access for Acorn and Family Plus Member Households (Reservation required)
• 10 am - 12pm: Exclusive access for ALL CalBG Member Households (Reservation required)
• 12 pm - 5 pm: Exclusive access for ALL CalBG Member Households (Reservation not required)

Please note: BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 am - 12 pm, MEMBERS MUST HAVE A PRE-RESERVED TICKET TO ACCESS THE GNN. Starting at 12 pm, members may check-in to shop without a reservation. 

Want to shop before 10 am? Upgrade to the Family Plus level of membership and receive access to the Grown Native Nursery starting at 8 am on Saturday, October 16 or upgrade to the Acorn level of membership and get invited to the Grow Native Nursery Acorn Member Pre-Sale on Thursday, October 14. The Pre-Sale includes the option of a personal shopper to assist you in picking the perfect plants for your home landscaping project.
