Habitat Gardening for Pollinators

In this class taught by landscape designer April Garbat, you will learn how to design a habitat garden, including the water and shelter needs, and the best native plants for our many local pollinators: butterflies, hummingbirds, honey and native bees, and other beneficial insects.

Participants should bring a rough measured sketch of their garden or portion of their garden on 8.5 x 11 paper, 2 cups of soil from their garden in a water-proof container, and photos on their phones or other digital devices.

Education Classes Refund Policy

In the case that a fee-based class or workshop is cancelled, Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden will refund the full (100%) payment.

 If a registered and paid participant withdraws from the class 72 hours or more prior to the beginning of the event, class, or workshop a full refund will be issued.

 If a registered and paid participant withdraws more than 24 hoursbut less than 72 hours before the beginning of the class, event, or workshop a 50% refund will be issued.

 If a registered and paid participant withdraws less than 24 hours before the class, or is a ‘no-show’ on the day of the event, class, or workshop, norefund will be issued.

 This Refund Policy applies to all classes requiring payment.
