Hot Spots for Rare Plants in California

With more than 6,500 kinds of native plants, California has more kinds of plants than any state in the United States. California's status as a global biodiversity hot spot is not only due to the number of plants found here, but also due to threats that have caused many of our plants to become endangered.

Join Naomi Fraga (Conservation Botanist at RSABG) as she provides an overview to some spectacular hiking locations in southern California that are noted not only for their scenic beauty but also for the rare and interesting plants that occur there.
