Spring Native Plant Propagation: Growing Plants from Seeds and Cuttings

Spring into your garden and come out with new plants you grew yourself! Nursery Production Manager Antonio Sanchez leads this hands-on class on how to start your own seeds at home and prepare cuttings of your favorite plants. Gain experience taking cuttings of native Sages and Verbenas and learn how to prepare and stick them, as well as sow seed of native Penstemon and Milkweed, and learn the best soils to use and how correctly water and transplant them. All participants will take home FREE materials, including cuttings and seeds. STRICTLY LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS.

Grow Native Nursery in the Veterans Garden offers free educational programs and workshops for the public.
