Things That Go Bump in the Night

Friday and Saturday, October 6 and 7, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Along the Garden’s trails, you will find many stations with educational information, displays, activities, and crafts for all ages. Discover the “night life” of reptiles, mammals, spiders, and more! 

Meet the SoCal Bat Working Group and listen to live recordings of bats in our Garden; brew some special plant potions with our friends from the Alf Museum; and greet live owls courtesy of Wild Wings and wolfdogs courtesy of the Guardians of the Wolves!*

Come for dinner and a show as well! Without a Box Improv from the Claremont Colleges will be performing a special improv show, and delicious crepes will be for sale by Crepes Bonaparte.

Although there are plenty of resident creatures a'crawling at CalBG, please note: This is NOT a Halloween celebration!  Please, no costumes or masks. We ask you not to bring or do anything that might frighten any of our guests.

No entry after 7:30 p.m. to ensure everyone who comes get a chance

to enjoy all the activities.
