Native Plant Festival
Saturday, March 28, 2026

CalBG and Sustainable Claremont invite you to come to the largest native plant garden in California to learn about the beauty, variety, and resiliency of our state’s native ecosystems. This free, family-friendly event celebrates California’s incredible biodiversity and demonstrates how we can all make a difference to protect and enhance the landscapes around us. Join dozens of regional nonprofits, landscapers, and agencies for info on native plant landscaping and wildlands conservation and restoration, plus crafts, music, storytime, food, and more! There will also be a local artisan market in our Grow Native Nursery.

Native Plant Festival hours are 10 AM - 3 PM; Garden opening hours are 8 AM to 6 PM.

If tickets for your preferred time slot are sold out, walk-up tickets may be available during the Festival, dependent upon event capacity (you are not guaranteed immediate entry to the grounds).

Although parking is free, availability will be heavily impacted throughout the day. If possible, we recommend walking or biking (convenient bike parking will be available in the main lot). Please arrive with ample time before your scheduled time slot to find a parking spot. There will be satellite parking available with shuttle service.

All admission tickets for Saturday, March 28th are free in honor of the Native Plant Festival. Make a suggested donation of $5 per ticket at checkout to support California Botanic Garden's Living Collection, educational work, and conservation programs.
