Basket Weaving Workshop

In this two day workshop, basket weaver Lorene Sisquoc will teach you how to harvest, prepare, and use the plant materials important in making Native American-style deergrass baskets. Lorene will walk participants through these various steps, and by the end of the course participants will have made their own coiled 1 inch medallion of juncus, yucca and deergrass and completed a round reed creekside wicker style basket!

Sundays, February 5 and 12, 2017, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, with a break for lunch. Please bring your own lunch. We can also direct you to some nice markets, cafes, and restaurants nearby.

$50.00 for the public, $40.00 for RSABG members, cost covers both days (Ages 16+)

Please meet at the East Classroom in RSABG's Administration Building.
